The Kinbidhoo people are indigenous people of the Thaa atoll islands that is part of Maldives and one of the earliest island community of the Maldives. People are friendly and have some their own cultures.Historical sign from kinbidhoo shows that Buddhism was their religion before conversion of Islam to Maldives.

Young people love to play football, volley ball, dance etc.. Most commonly dance festivals are organized in BODU EID holidays.. All the islanders will participate all the sports and other events help in EID. Community works are diminishing because of the implementation of the new government system recent years in Maldives. Most people prefer to live more independently, not like old time.. There are a large number of sea men in Kinbidhoo. Most of the fathers works whole the year away from their family..These days we see a large number of unemployed people roaming around the island.
