Stand up with Umar Naseeru!!!

The Maldivian people should be ashamed of themselves. They have become a society induced in a coma waiting for death to arrive, while the activists from MDP activated themselves to gain control of government and our nation, and now us using it to destroy what little we got and our country. It looks like we are a nation full of cowards since activist Mohamed Nasheed has become the President and made all the activists that followed him cronies, either as political appointees, or assimilated them into his aura as street activists.

The inhabited islands have become destitute after Mohamed Nasheed officially deprived them of infra structures. People have become hungry and are on the breadline, and everyday the activist Nasheed that got himself the position of control as President of Maldives is adding to the list of unemployed by getting rid of all the civil service employees that refuse to bow to him.

Why are the Maldivian people staying oblivious to a man who grabbed our government control by hoodwinking the nation, and is denying us our jobs, deprived us of the jobs we have got, and is trying to cause illiteracy and poverty to our people, a nation that for decades is famous for its high literacy rate and high economic indicators..

It is the responsibility of our grassroots in the middle class and lower class to make them pay attention to what they have become, make them see what they are doing to our nation.

A question was asked by a fan on the man’s Facebook fan page as to why the Copenhagen hero of environment (that according to his Facebook page the Denmark President labelled him as) is such a failure in the Maldives. Well the answer is that he is good at hoodwinking people by becoming a die hard activist of whatever nature he has to be, and in Copenhagen he became the environmental activist, something those world leaders have never seen at that level. They at Copenhagen did not realise that all he is interested in is and capable of is; and the only thing that he knows is how to be an activist; come out to the streets and screech, if he is in conference hall screech and scare others into submission, also if he is in government screech people into silence, with a word or two about what he will do to them.

He is benefiting with this barbarous scaring method, in Copenhagen, in Maldives, for the British Conservative, for Israel, while we refuse to screech like him. But the time has come for our political opposition and disaffected beleaguered citizens to screech like him and become activists, and start defying this man by beating him at his own game.

The selfish dictatorship he established is thriving by the day, while hiked prices of everyday goods and his raping of public service and employees are leaving the society helpless at the brink of extinction, way before we become extinct of environmental problems which he is at the moment is using like hell for propaganda.

We are so easy to control, and this man autocrat Nasheed knows very well there is no one like him in any of the political parties to do what he did. He is pretty low. But the only way to survive is to end his lawlessness as the President of Maldives. To end that we have to stoop to his level and beat him at his own game.

The treasury, the state coffers has become personalised, and whatever is spend elsewhere has been diverted and reduced to the salaries of his cronies as, since becoming the President he has put a permanent stop on all infra structure development projects.

He has made all those similar minded activists, violent people that helped him to power, his slaves. He has taken a strong dictatorial control over our people, and while he is selling our public goods one by one, at the same time sacking us from our jobs daily by the dozen, we are staying quite without even moving a finger.

We are paying heavily as this man is crippling the social, economic structures of Maldives. The Maldivian people have lost all the benefits of having a government and bringing democracy, because they are happy when the autocrat trip around the world and hoodwink the international community and his activists give thumbs up on his Facebook page and say great president, well done President.

These activists’ highly organised game played to protect the status quo of this autocrat regime is more than enough for us to stay and suffer in silence, without expressing against the poverty he is causing and his oppression of freedom together with the persecution of non-supporters by influencing supposedly independent institutions such as the Maldives Civil Service Commission.

He is controlling the people, but why are we allowing him to control us, allowing him to silence us. He did not stay silent. He wasn’t even going hungry when he came out on the streets of Maldives with his band of thugs and not stop until HE President decided enough is enough and walked out leaving us with this our own made disaster.

We are calling the Maldivian people to emerge again in his clothing. To form groups and give this man the taste of his own medicine. Where are the fired, sacked, bumped out employees of the Civil Service? Come out. Where are the citizens, who has to pay ten times higher prices for their daily onion and eggs, ten times more that what they paid before this man became the autocrat.

We believe in this country. We believe that the time has come to save the country from this band of deceivers. It is time. The time has come.
